Inspiration

Over at Embrace the Shadow's Blog, author Barbara Hancock is blogging about inspiration. Her post is very positive, and worth taking a peek at.

I've been quiet on this blog, along with some of the Yahoo Groups I belong to, because I began work on a novel about a month ago. I started out by deleting 230 pages of the original novel, and began writing chapter two. Chapter one was all I kept. It sounds drastic, doesn't it? But the pacing and the plot were off. The new draft, which is almost finished, is so much better.

Barbara's post on inspiration today really pumped me up. I'm giving myself a week to finish this WIP. The next story is already bubbling up, and I still have to edit the one I'm writing.

Along with Barbara, I'll include a few inspirational quotes to start the day off right...

~ If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it ~ William Arthur Ward

~ Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out ~ Robert Collier

~ The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack in will ~ Vince Lombardi

~ If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. There's no use being a damn fool about it ~ W.C. Fields (LOL!!! I had to add that one in there. :)

Have a great day!!
